The Farmhouse Cabin

BRAND NEW construction on this one-bedroom luxury farmhouse cabin in the Great Smoky Mountains. Designed as a romantic getaway for two or a sanctuary for the solo traveler, surround yourself in the dreamy details of the farmhouse decor, mountain views facing sunset, designer kitchen, an open deck with fire bowl and gas grill, a covered deck off the master bedroom and a wall of windows in the great room. This remote location is ideal for those seeking a private place to escape from city life.

The space
Highlights include a wall of windows facing the mountains and the sunet view, a cozy reading corner in the living room overlooking the mountains, full kitchen with gas stove/oven for cooking, farmhouse vintage decor, and plenty of space to stretch out and relax. Special features include:
- Surround sound in the great room
- Free Netflix account already logged in for you to use in both living room and bedroom - K-Cafe coffee brewing system with latte feature
- Starter selection of coffee and tea K-cup pods
- Portable Bluetooth speaker
- Two plush robes in the bathroom
- Bathroom amenities include individual-sized shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, bar soap, and shower gel with loofah
- Fully stocked spice rack
- Fully adjustable King size bed
- Full size front-load washer and dryer.

Guest access
Guests will have full access to the property interior and exterior. The owner's home and a 2nd rental cabin are also on this 3-acre parcel but you'll have no line of sight with either of them. It's completely private. There is a private home that sits below the cabin, but you'll have to look down to see the roofline.

Other things to note
The road leading to the cabin is a one-lane paved road. It is a private neighborhood so it is highly unlikely you will meet another car going in the other direction. But if you do, there are places along the road for one or the other to back up or pull off to the side.

Interaction with guests

Hosts are respectful of guest privacy, but available for advice or conversation.

What to Bring

We recommend that you bring or purchase consumable supplies (paper towels, toilet paper, soap, laundry detergent, and toiletries). There will be a “starter amount” of these when you arrive, but it is not meant to last your stay. We have a wood-burning fire pit, and you will need to supply the wood. We supply trash bags, dish washing liquid and hand soap. If you will be enjoying a water activity like tubing or white water rafting, we recommend bringing beach towels. We also recommend that you bring insect repellent, especially during the warmer months.
